Abstract
This study aims to analyze public perceptions of the Netflix original physical reality competition show, “Physical: 100”, through social big data and to compare key interest factors and audience responses between Seasons 1 and 2. By doing so, the study seeks to provide theoretical insights into the structure of content reception and emotional responses, while also identifying practical implications for brand communication strategies based on content-driven sports marketing. Textmining techniques were employed, including keyword analysis, sentiment analysis, semantic network analysis, and CONCOR analysis, using tools such as TextoM, Ucinet 6.0, and NetDraw. Data were collected from Naver and Daum, including web documents, blogs, news articles, and online communities. The data collection period spanned from January 24 to December 31, 2023 for Season 1 and from March 19 to December 31, 2024 for Season 2. The results revealed that Season 1 was primarily characterized by person-centered attention and negative issues, with keywords such as participants, controversy, and school violence dominating. In contrast, Season 2 featured keywords such as Amotti, pop-up store, and brand, indicating broader marketing potential and content extensibility. Sentiment analysis also showed a higher proportion of positive sentiment in Season 2. Additionally, semantic network analysis identified new clusters such as promotion and winner, further suggesting strategic applicability. This study empirically demonstrates that physical reality competition shows can evolve beyond mere entertainment to function as immersive, engagement-driven marketing platforms connecting content, participation, and consumption. These findings offer practical implications for marketing strategy development among sports brands, content platform providers, and related industries.

Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effects of a 15-week after-school Taekkyeon training program on body composition, functional movement (FMS), and balance control ability in adolescent girls. Eleven middle school girls participated in the program twice weekly for 75 minutes per session, and pre- and post-intervention measurements included body composition, FMS, Y-Balance Test (YBT), and Balance Error Scoring System (BESS). Although significant increases were observed in body weight, fat mass, body fat percentage, and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), there were no statistically significant changes in lean body mass and Body Mass Index (BMI). In contrast, FMS total and sub-item scores showed significant improvements, with particularly large effect sizes (Cohen’s d ≥ 1.5) observed in Rotary Stability and Hurdle Step. Furthermore, YBT results demonstrated significant increases in both upper and lower limbs, and the number of errors in BESS significantly decreased, indicating enhanced static balance control ability. These results suggest that the complex and repetitive movements of Taekkyeon effectively activate deep core muscles and stimulate proprioception and neuromuscular control, contributing to improvements in functional movement and balance. Consequently, Taekkyeon can be considered a meaningful exercise program to enhance physical function, prevent injury, and improve exercise performance in adolescent girls.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the character collaboration marketing of the 2024 KBO League using social big data and to identify the differences in responses between traditional media and new media. To this end, keywords related to character collaboration marketing of the KBO League were selected and data were collected for about 9 months from March 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024. The data collection channels included Naver, Daum, Google, blogs, Instagram, X (Twitter), and online communities. The collected data were analyzed using Textom and SomeTrend. By conducting word frequency analysis, TF-IDF, and sentiment analysis, the study identified distinct differences in keywords and emotional responses across the two media types. Traditional media primarily featured keywords aimed at official and informational content, whereas new media tended to emphasize emotional expressions and personal opinions from fans. While both media types generally showed positive sentiment, differences were found in the context and intensity of those emotions. This study empirically identified the differences in responses to character collaboration marketing by the media type, suggesting that it can be used as a basic data for future communication strategy and content development research that reflects media characteristics. In addition, practical implications for establishing differentiated sport marketing strategies based on media characteristics were presented.

Abstract
This study reconceptualizes sports gambling addiction not as a pathological or behavioral disorder, but as an ideological formation structured by the dynamics of late capitalism. Drawing on Slavoj Žižek’s psychoanalytic theory―particularly the concepts of fetishistic disavowal, perversion, and jouissance―the research examines how gambling operates as a circuit of self-destructive enjoyment. Employing textual and theoretical analysis, the study argues that gambling persists not due to ignorance or irrationality, but because subjects are ideologically interpellated into repeating harmful behavior they consciously recognize as damaging. This repetition is sustained and legitimized by state, corporate, and media discourses that frame gambling as leisure, civic participation, or personal growth. The findings suggest that sports gambling addiction reflects deeper ideological mechanisms of enjoyment, calling for a shift from individualized therapeutic models to structural and philosophical critique. This approach offers new insight into the ethical and political dimensions of addiction in contemporary society.

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the acceptance potential of AI-based advertising measurement technologies as alternatives to traditional manual measurement methods by analyzing researchers’ subjective perception types in the context of sports broadcasting. To this end, the Q methodology was applied, and 32 experts in the fields of sports advertising and AI technologies were selected as research participants. From an initial pool of 30 Q-population statements derived through literature review and in-depth interviews, a final set of 16 items was constructed. Through Q-sorting and factor analysis, the researchers’ perception types were classified. The analysis revealed three types: first, the “open-minded” type, which expects AI technology to bring broad societal impacts despite limited practical experience; second, the “selective acceptance” type, which takes a pragmatic stance based on utility and reliability; and third, the “preferential” type, which emphasizes full adoption and future value of AI technology. All three types shared a strong distrust of conventional stopwatch-based manual measurement methods and showed positive perceptions of the efficiency and real-time analytical capabilities of AI technology.

Abstract
This study analyzed sports fans’ reactions to the fairness of transgender athletes participating in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics using social network big data. Through this, we would like to identify the issues of transgender athletes who participated in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and 2024 Paris Olympics, examine the flow of major discourse and emotional reactions, and present implications for discussing sports policy and fairness. As a result of the analysis, first, the main perception of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics was the controversy over transgender athletes’ participation in the Olympics, and the peripheral perceptions were formed by issues such as the participation of transgender female weightlifters, the participation of transgender female soccer players, the controversy over weightlifters at Harvard, and the controversy over the unfairness of the Paralympics. Meanwhile, for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the main perception was the list of transgender athletes and the game issues, and the peripheral perceptions were the controversy over the participation of transgender athletes and the issue of boxing giving up participation in the Paris Olympics. Second, as a result of the difference in emotional reactions to transgender athletes in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics, positivity decreased from 177 to 109, negativity increased from 85 to 93, and neutrality decreased from 142 to 84. Third, sports fans on social networks can largely summarize the controversy over the fairness of transgender athletes into two parts: the controversy over the participation of transgender athletes themselves, and the controversy over the impact of transgender athletes on the game and the rules for participation. Therefore, for fairness with female athletes, convincing measures should be sought based on the necessity of differentiation policies for each sports event and scientific data.

Abstract
This study explores the meanings that emerge from older men’s participation in football as a form of serious leisure. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten men aged 65 and older who were active members of football clubs in the Seoul metropolitan area. Data were analyzed using Giorgi’s (1985) phenomenological method. The findings revealed that participants’ football experiences aligned with the six characteristics of serious leisure proposed by Stebbins (1992)― perseverance, career development, significant effort, durable benefits, unique ethos, and strong identity. Rather than perceiving football merely as a physical activity, participants approached it as a structured and long-term leisure practice, through which they restructured the meaning of their lives. In particular, the development of a strong identity was found to be organically linked with the dimensions of successful ageing outlined by Rowe and Kahn (1992). Furthermore, as a team sport, football served as a critical medium for fostering interpersonal interaction and solidarity, thereby mitigating issues such as social isolation, role loss, and the shrinking of social networks. This study highlights the physical, psychological, and social value of football for older men and demonstrates the essential role that serious leisure can play in cultivating a healthy and meaningful later life.

Abstract
This study aimed to compare and analyze dynamic postural stability and biomechanical variables of the lumbar spine between barbell and machine conditions during the performance of the standing overhead press (SOHP). Fifteen adult males with experience in resistance training participated in the study. Forty-seven reflective markers were attached to joints and body segments of the participants, who then performed the SOHP under both barbell and machine conditions. Kinematic and kinetic data were collected using eight infrared cameras(sampling rate: 250 Hz) and two force plates(sampling rate: 1000 Hz). From these measurements, the maximum moving range of the center of mass (COM) in the anterior-posterior and medial-lateral directions, as well as the peak lumbar joint angles and peak joint reaction forces in each direction, were calculated during both the ascending and descending phases of the SOHP. A paired t-test was conducted to compare the variables. The results showed that during the descending phase of the SOHP, medial-lateral maximum moving range of COM was significantly greater under the barbell condition compared to the machine condition. In all phases, the peak lumbar extension angle was greater under the barbell condition than under the machine condition. Furthermore, the peak compressive joint reaction force in the lumbar joint was higher in the barbell condition during the descending phase.

Abstract
This study aimed to explore how Korean immigrant parents residing in New Zealand perform their roles as cultural transmitters through their children’s participation in sports, and how both parents and children form and transform their transnational identities in this process. To achieve this, semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with ten first-generation Korean immigrant parents living in New Zealand, and the data were analyzed through inductive thematic analysis. The results revealed the following: First, parents tended to regard sports as a peripheral activity due to the educational values internalized in Korea, often expressing conditional support for their children's sports participation. Second, through the inclusive educational and sports environment in New Zealand, parents gradually reappraised the educational and social value of sports, recognizing its positive role in their children’s school adjustment and social relationship-building. Third, parents actively supported their children’s formation of transnational identities by mediating between the cultural values of their home and host countries, fulfilling their roles as cultural transmitters. These findings suggest that in an increasingly mobile contemporary society, sports can function as an important social space that helps ease cultural tensions and supports both parents and children in embracing diverse cultural identities in a healthy and constructive manner.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of New Sports activities with students with disabilities on non-disabled students’ attitudes toward disability acceptance and interpersonal presence. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with non-disabled students participating in school sports club activities, including New Sports, at middle schools located in Busan, South Korea. After excluding 35 incomplete responses, data from 505 students were analyzed using SPSS Window Version 26.0. The analysis included frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that participation in New Sports with students with disabilities had a significant impact on the sub-factors of disability acceptance―namely, personal life, school life, and academic activities. Additionally, participation influenced the interpersonal presence sub-factor of mutual reliance, but not recognition or interest. Furthermore, among the sub-factors of interpersonal presence, recognition significantly affected school life, interest significantly affected academic activities, and mutual reliance significantly affected academic activities within the disability acceptance variables. These findings suggest that participating in New Sports with students with disabilities positively influences non-disabled students’ psychosocial attitudes, providing foundational data for policy development and future research on related psychosocial factors.

Abstract
The purpose of this study, ‘The Mode of Being and Equipmental Structure of Skates in Ice Sports,’ is to explore the ontological status of skates as used in figure skating, speed skating, and short track speed skating, based on Heidegger’s concepts of equipmentality (Zeughaftigkeit) and involvement (Bewandtnis). The equipmentality of skates is revealed in their readiness-to-hand (Zuhandenheit) that is, when they are practically used and cared for by athletes within the context of performance. The involvement of each skate varies depending on the athlete's ultimate purpose and sporting discipline. First, the involvement in figure skating is characterized as ‘using skates with high ankle support, short blades, and toe picks (means)’ for ‘aesthetic expression and technical execution (purpose).’ Second, in speed skating, the involvement is expressed as ‘using clap skates (means)’ for ‘achieving faster times and personal records (purpose).’ Third, in short track speed skating, the involvement is defined as ‘using skates with customized rocker and bending configurations (means)’ for ‘strategic maneuvering and rank advancement (purpose).’ In conclusion, skates in these disciplines are not merely passive tools but reveal distinct modes of being through their functional integration into athletes’ embodied practice. They thus manifest as ‘skates for artistic and technical performance (figure skating),’ ‘skates for time optimization (speed skating),’ and ‘skates for competitive positioning (short track speed skating),’ each serving as a practical medium for realizing the athlete’s potentiality-for-being in the world of sport.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore how the academic identity and sense of scholarly calling of a research-track faculty member in physical education are formed and sustained. For this purpose, the study employed a self-narrative approach, centering on the researcher’s autobiographical experiences. Data sources included research diaries, reflective memos, and materials from academic activities, which were structured and analyzed through the narrative inquiry framework of ‘storying’ and ‘re-storying.’ The analysis revealed that the researcher’s identity was not fixed by institutional position or role performance, but rather formed through the dynamic interaction between practice and emotion―such as the endurance of unresolved questions, emotional labor in the face of failure, the immersive flow of research, and the inner sense of calling that drives continued inquiry. In terms of research immersion, intrinsic resonance―rather than external incentives―proved to be the primary source of motivation, and research practice itself emerged as a mode of life and a language of existence. The ambiguous institutional location of a research-track professor generated a layered emotional structure shaped by the tension between belonging and marginality within the academic community, which significantly influenced the process of meaning-making and commitment to scholarly practice. These findings reframe the role of research-track professors not merely as functional appointments but as key structural conditions for identity formation and sustained research engagement, offering theoretical and policy implications for expanding inquiry into the practice-based identities of scholars in the arts and physical education.

Abstract
The present study aimed to examine the structural relationships among goal content to learn, self-determined motivation, and prosocial and antisocial behaviors of students participating in middle school physical education classes. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 317 middle school students in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and Mplus software to perform frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis, and the research model was verified through structural equation modeling. The results revealed that, first, intrinsic goals had a positive effect on autonomous motivation but did not have a statistically significant effect on controlled motivation. In contrast, extrinsic goals had positive effects on both autonomous and controlled motivation. Second, autonomous motivation had a positive effect on prosocial behavior but did not show a significant effect on antisocial behavior. These findings provide empirical support for the proposition that the content of students’ learning goals shapes the quality of their motivation, which in turn influences their prosocial and antisocial behaviors in the physical-education context.

This study explored changes in coaching practices and response strategies of sports coaches following the implementation of athlete-centered human rights protection measures. It used a phenomenological approach within qualitative research methods. Eight sports coaches were selected using purposive and snowball sampling, and in-depth interviews were conducted. Text analysis revealed the following findings. First, coaches perceived discomfort due to excessive protection of student-athlete rights, the need to move away from viewing coaches as potential perpetrators, and inadequacies in sports human rights education that did not reflect the realities of the sports field. Second, coaches’ response strategies to athlete-centered human rights protection measures included avoiding actions that could be misunderstood, being cautious with their words, and advising athletes to be careful with one another. Relationship changes involved treating athletes solely as athletes and distancing themselves from parents. Attitude changes showed that coaches adopted self-protective and avoidant behaviors to ensure their professional stability. Ultimately, these results indicate that while coaches empathize with the necessity of protecting athlete rights and have shifted towards more human rights-friendly coaching strategies they also experience a sense of disconnection from the field and a diminishment of their coaching authority. Therefore, future sports human rights measures should seek to balance sports human rights and coaching strategies.

Abstract
This study aimed to explore the multifactorial combinations of key health behaviors, physical function indicators, and chronic disease diagnoses associated with low back pain (LBP) among older adults in Korea, with a specific focus on sex differences. Using data from the 2014-2015 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES), a total of 3,134 individuals aged 65 years and older were analyzed. Key variables were first selected using the Boruta algorithm for each sex, followed by logistic regression and Apriori-based association rule analyses. The results showed that, in older men, absolute grip strength, income level, leisure and occupational physical activity, arthritis, and depression were the primary factors distinguishing LBP status. Notably, the absence of arthritis emerged as a significant protective factor against LBP. Among older women, arthritis diagnosis, absolute grip strength, total physical activity, stress level, and educational attainment were identified as major risk factors. Association rule mining revealed that combinations such as “no arthritis + low stress + total physical activity ≥600 METs” were significantly associated with lower LBP risk. These findings demonstrate that combining machine learning-based feature selection with association rule mining can uncover LBP risk patterns beyond single-variable models. The network visualization based on association rules provides an intuitive view of LBP risk structures and can assist in comparing sex-specific patterns and identifying high-risk profiles.

Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the physical education class status of remote middle schools classified according to the Enforcement Regulation of the Island and Remote Area Education Promotion Act. To this end, 66 middle schools, excluding elementary schools, high schools, and branch schools, were selected as the final research subjects among 400 remote schools classified according to the Enforcement Regulation of the Island and Remote Area Education Promotion Act, and a comprehensive survey was conducted. Physical education class data were collected by utilizing the School Information website to collect teaching, learning, and evaluation plan documents by subject (grade). The collected data were read repeatedly several times, and the commonalities and differences were classified and analyzed according to the 2015 revised physical education curriculum content system. The results of the study were presented as analysis of the content of physical education classes in remote middle schools based on the 2015 revised physical education curriculum, and the characteristics of physical education classes in remote middle schools were discussed. The results of the study are as follows. First, when looking at the evaluation ratio by major area in middle school physical education classes, the order was competition area (44.8%), health area (21.4%), challenge area (18%), expression area (6.8%), and safety area (5.2%). In particular, as the grade level increased, there was a tendency to select the competition area more as the evaluation content and to prefer the expression area less. Second, in the health area, ‘Health and Physical Fitness Assessment (61.4%)’ and PAPS were high, in the challenge area, ‘Record Challenge (76.5%)’ and floor exercise were high, in the competition area, ‘Net Competition (54.8%)’ and badminton were high, in the expression area, ‘Sports Expression (78.4%)’ and youth gymnastics were high, and in the safety area, ‘Sports Activity Safety (75.4%)’ and CPR were high. Financial and administrative support is continuously needed for students in remote areas to experience diverse and rich physical education classes.

Abstract
This study aims to critically reexamine the normative perceptions and institutional structures surrounding transgender athletes’ participation in sport through the philosophical lens of Gilles Deleuze, thereby expanding the ontological horizon of understanding. To this end, this paper first draws on Deleuze’s concepts of the “ontology of difference” and the “body without organs” to argue that transgender existence subverts the gender binary and constitutes a positive practice of difference that generates new forms of corporeality and subjectivity. Second, by analyzing public discourse on transgender women athletes, the study reveals how underlying logics such as gender asymmetry, biological determinism, selective applications of fairness discourses, and the rationale of categorical separation function as mechanisms that justify and reproduce structural exclusion. Third, it offers a critical interpretation of traditional sport norms and bodily paradigms through Deleuze’s notions of deterritorialization and the philosophy of becoming, thereby highlighting how contemporary sport institutions are fundamentally structured around the reproduction of sameness rather than the accommodation of difference. Finally, through the affirmation of difference, an ethics of becoming, and a redefinition of fairness, this study argues that transgender participation in sport should not be perceived as a threat to normative structures, but rather as an ethical practice that expands the capacities of bodies and life itself, in line with Deleuzian ethics.
This study aims to make a practical contribution to the design of micro-cycle training loads to optimize football players’ performance by examining the relationship between micro-cycles Tapering (T) and match Running Performance (RP) in elite football players. Of the 35 micro-cycles collected during the 2024 competitive season, 29 micro-cycles meeting strict criteria to reduce variability in comparisons were included in the final analysis. Data from 30 players who participated in all training sessions and played at least 80 minutes of official matches were utilized. A total of 804 training sessions and 201 match data were analyzed. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to evaluate associations between MD-1 Tapering (T) and match Running Performance (RP). Independent sample t-tests were conducted to assess group differences in match Running Performance (RP) based on MD-1 Tapering (T).
The analysis showed that Sprint Distance (T) on MD-1 had the strongest positive correlation with Sprint Distance (RP). Additionally, all MD-1 Tapering (T) variables demonstrated positive correlations with Sprint Distance (RP). Furthermore, the group with higher High Speed Running Distance (T) on MD-1 showed significantly higher values in all match Running Performance (RP) variables compared to the group with lower High Speed Running Distance (T). Similarly, the group with a higher Sprint Distance (T) on MD-1 demonstrated significantly higher values in all Running Performance (RP) variables, except for the Total Distance (RP), when compared to the group with a lower Sprint Distance (T). In summary, the findings of this study highlight the effectiveness of a Tapering (T) strategy that applies higher training loads on training days with sufficient intervals before matches (e.g., MD-4 and MD-3) and systematically reduces training loads proximal to match days (e.g., MD-1). Specifically, the reduction in training loads during MD-1 plays a pivotal role in enhancing high-intensity Running Performance (RP), such as sprint performance.

Abstract
This study explores the practical transformation of environmental ethics in sports by employing Andrew Light's Environmental Pragmatism as a theoretical framework. Traditional environmental ethics, which often emphasize abstract and philosophical concepts such as the intrinsic value of nature and non-anthropocentrism, have shown limitations in addressing concrete environmental issues within the field of sports. In response, this study highlights the relevance of the practice-oriented and context-sensitive approach proposed by Environmental Pragmatism for applying environmental ethics more effectively in sport-related settings. Through a comprehensive literature review of Andrew Light's key works and relevant domestic and international studies, the research proposes actionable strategies for achieving tangible environmental outcomes in the management of sports facilities and events. Suggested measures include fostering ecological citizenship through sport, expanding eco-friendly sports infrastructures, and institutionalizing environmental management systems. By applying Environmental Pragmatism to sports environmental ethics, this study demonstrates that sport can shift from being a contributor to environmental degradation to becoming an ethical practice that promotes sustainability and public responsibility. Ultimately, it aims to broaden the practical horizon of future research on environmental ethics in sports.

Abstract
This study explores Sport Heutagogy as an educational alternative for transforming gifted physical education from elite-centered training toward self-designed, self-directed, and creative athlete development. Current systems limit learner autonomy and holistic growth. Through analysis of Sport Heutagogy principles and integration with Mosston's Style K teaching approach, practical instructional strategies were developed. First, gifted physical education requires self-designed and self-directed learning approaches. Sport Heutagogy serves as a theoretical foundation for this transformation, representing a new learning paradigm in sports that includes autonomous learning design, implementation, and metacognitive reflection. Second, Mosston's Style K enables coach role transformation from controllers to facilitators, supporters, and companions. Third, autonomy-centered education models contribute to developing creative gifted athletes with sustainable performance capabilities and strategic skills. Abstract
This study examines the five-stage evolution of Japan's certified para-sports instructor qualification system (inception, introduction, consolidation, growth, internationalization), based on key policy shifts and institutional milestones, drawing on the 2025 publication “The History and Present of Para-Sports” by the Japanese Para Sports Association, as well as official documents, academic literature, policy reports, and media coverage, to identify implications for improving Korea's system. The findings show that the certification name evolved from “physically disabled person” to “person with a disability” and eventually to “para,” reflecting a shift toward inclusive and rights-based values. The qualification structure expanded from disability Sports Instructor and coach roles to include doctors and trainers, forming a multilayered professional system. Strategic visions introduced in 2013 and 2021 emphasized diversity, universal values, and para-sports promotion. Drawing from these insights, the study recommends that Korea adopt a phased naming and philosophical redesign, develop customized training on disability-related competencies, and restructure qualifications by level, sport, and specialization. These reforms can strengthen the foundation of Korea's sports instructor system for persons with disabilities and promote a more inclusive society.

Structural Relationships among Taekwondo Athletes’ Mindset, Psychological Empowerment, and Exercise Enthusiasm 태권도 선수의 마인드셋, 심리적임파워먼트, 운동열의의 구조적 관계
This study aimed to identify the structural relationships among mindset, psychological empowerment, and exercise enthusiasm in Taekwondo sparring athletes. To achieve the research objectives, a convenience sampling method was employed, and university Taekwondo sparring athletes registered with the Korea Taekwondo Association were selected as participants. For data processing, SPSS 28.0 and Jamovi 2.4.11 were used to conduct frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, descriptive statistics, path analysis, and mediation analysis using bootstrapping. Specifically, the findings were as follows: First, the mindset of Taekwondo sparring athletes had a significant effect on psychological empowerment. Second, mindset did not have a significant effect on exercise enthusiasm. Third, psychological empowerment significantly influenced exercise enthusiasm. Fourth, psychological empowerment played a mediating role in the relationship between mindset and exercise enthusiasm. To enhance the exercise enthusiasm of Taekwondo sparring athletes, it is important to maintain the belief that one's abilities can improve. Even when growth seems to stagnate temporarily due to slumps or plateaus, active training and positive interactions with teammates and coaches can reignite enthusiasm. Furthermore, psychological empowerment―achieved through autonomous choices and decision-making ―was found to positively influence exercise enthusiasm, even in athletes with a fixed mindset.

Abstract
This study aims to analyze how fans’ psychological bonding comprising team attachment, team identification, and team involvement has changed from the initial establishment of the women's professional volleyball team, Pepper Savings Bank AI PEPPERS, to the present. Additionally, it seeks to examine how these factors influence team acceptability, team support, team attitude, and willingness to cooperate. A total of 262 valid samples were collected from spectators who visited AI Peppers's home stadium. For the final analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, t-tests, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The findings are as follows: First, the sub-factors of psychological bonding ―team attachment, team identification, and team involvement―have all shown significant improvement compared to the initial period. Second, the influence of psychological bonding on fans’ attitudes and behaviors toward the team has evolved over time. In the case of team acceptability, only team attachment significantly had a significant effect during the initial phase, whereas both team identification and team identification were found to be influential at the current stage. Regarding team support, team involvement had the greatest impact on team support, with team identification and team attachment remaining consistent influencing factors. For both team attitude and willingness to cooperate, only team identification was significant at the initial stage. However, at present, the influencing factors have diversified: team attitude was positively influenced by team attachment and team identification, and willingness to cooperate was positively influenced by team identification and team involvement. In conclusion, the study confirms that fans’ emotional responses toward a team expand over time into identity internalization and behavioral engagement. The results are expected to offer practical implications for establishing sustainable growth strategies aimed at developing operational plans and strengthening the fan base of newly founded teams.

Abstract
This study aims to analyze domestic and international research trends on family-participated physical activity interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Participation in physical activities plays a crucial role in promoting health and well-being for children with ASD, and the involvement of family members in the intervention process can serve as a key factor in enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of the intervention. Accordingly, this study reviewed 20 research articles published between 2006 and 2025, examining variables such as year of publication, academic field of the journal, research design, participant characteristics (age, gender, number), independent variables, and dependent variables. The analysis revealed that most studies primarily focused on improving physical functioning. However, more recent studies have expanded the scope of intervention effects to include aspects such as social interaction, emotional stability, and reductions in parental stress. This study suggests that family-participated physical activity interventions may serve as practical and sustainable support strategies for individuals with ASD and offers implications for future research.

Abstract
This study explores the psychological, social, and cultural implications of body profile photography as a form of body image-centered self-expression, using a phenomenological approach. In particular, it examines how exposure to idealized body images on social media platforms affects self-perception and identity formation. Through this lens, the study aims to elucidate the psychological significance of body-centered self-representation. To achieve this aim, Giorgi’s phenomenological research method was employed. In-depth interviews were conducted with four women who had experience with body profile photography. The interview data were analyzed through repetitive reading, meaning unit extraction, free transformation, and structural synthesis, thereby identifying the essential meanings shared across participants’ experiences. The analysis yielded five core thematic categories: ① Exploration of ideal body image and self-transformation, ② The dilemma of self-control: from a sense of achievement to compulsive behaviors, ③ Physical limits and emotional burnout, ④ Dissonance of body and mind following the moment of perfection, and ⑤ Realization and reflection upon encountering a new self. While initially motivated by external factors, participants gradually internalized their practices, experiencing enhanced self-efficacy and body positivity. These developments contributed to shifts in self-awareness and the reconstruction of personal identity. However, compulsive efforts to maintain an ideal body and excessive self-regulation also led to emotional exhaustion and confusion in self-evaluation. Body profile photography emerged as an ambivalent experience―serving both as a means of personal achievement and growth, and as a source of psychological strain. These findings illuminate the complex interplay among body image, self-control, and identity, offering theoretical and empirical insights into psychological transformation mediated by the body in contemporary society. Notably, the study highlights the impact of repeated exposure to idealized body standards via social media and the internalization of extrinsic motivations on self-perception.

Abstract
The term artistic sports has recently gained prominence in the field of sport, denoting disciplines that differ from traditional sports in terms of core characteristics and evaluation criteria. Despite its growing usage, the concept remains conceptually underdeveloped, and limited academic discourse has addressed how sports that integrate technical execution with artistic expression should be classified and conceptualized. In particular, sports such as rhythmic gymnastics, figure skating, and diving are often conflated with dance or expressive activities in policy and educational contexts, leading to conceptual ambiguity. This study seeks to define the concept of artistic sports and identify their unique characteristics, thereby narrowing the gap between theoretical understanding and practical application in sport policy, administration, and practice. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with experts from the sport industry, academia, and administrative fields, focusing on Olympic disciplines commonly referenced in previous literature. The data were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis based on semi-structured interview protocols. Findings indicate that artistic sports can be conceptualized as disciplines in which (technical) execution-structured by levels of difficulty-is intrinsically linked to artistic expression. Three core attributes were identified: difficulty, (performance) execution, and artistry. Furthermore, due to the centrality of qualitative, expression-based evaluation methods, the study confirms the need to classify artistic sports as a distinct subcategory within the broader domain of sport.
This research represents the first systematic attempt to define artistic sports conceptually. The findings offer both theoretical and practical implications, including the development of classification frameworks and evaluation systems aligned with the specific nature of these disciplines. Additionally, the study suggests applications in curriculum development, interdisciplinary content creation, and the expansion of potential consumer segments within the sport industry.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze consumers’ perceptions of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) activities carried out by sports brands and to compare the importance and satisfaction levels of each activity using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, thereby providing practical implications for effective ESG strategy development. A survey was conducted from October 1 to 31, 2024, targeting 233 consumers who had been exposed to information about sports brands’ ESG initiatives. The collected data were examined through confirmatory factor analysis, reliability testing, and IPA. The findings of this study are as follows. First, among the item-level importance ratings of ESG activities by sports brands, “contribution to individuals’ long-term welfare and quality of life” was identified as the top priority, while “contribution to social and economic development” received the highest satisfaction score. Second, when analyzed by ESG domains, governance was rated as the most important factor, whereas environment showed the highest satisfaction. Third, the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) revealed that items such as “contribution to long-term welfare and quality of life,” “full compliance with laws and regulations,” “responsibility to partners and shareholders,” and “prioritizing ethical principles over economic performance” were located in Quadrant II (Concentrate Here), indicating areas that require urgent improvement. This study provides practical implications for establishing ESG strategies from a consumer-oriented perspective and offers foundational data to help prioritize and enhance key ESG activities within the sports brand industry.

This study was conducted to derive the characteristics of the performance level of the 10m air pistol competition records of the Paris Olympics by applying the Markov chain model, and to study the possibility of evaluating the performance by applying the Markov chain theory. To achieve the purpose of this study, the results of the men's and women's 10m air pistol events at the 2024 Paris Olympics were utilized. Based on these results, transition frequencies were calculated and normalized to determine the transition probability values for each series using Microsoft Excel 365. The results of the study showed that, first, the transition probabilities of 10m air pistol male and female athletes were collected, and the Markov chain model was applied to the scores of 10 points and 9 points or less to calculate the transition probabilities that can objectively evaluate the upper and lower performance of 10m air pistol athletes. Second, we categorized the transition probabilities according to the scores into male and female performance levels and presented the actual values for each series. Based on this study, we hope that it will be used as a basis for athlete evaluation and customized training design in the field.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the association between Physical Activity (PA) levels and fall-related outcomes in individuals with Symptomatic Knee Osteoarthritis (SOA). Public data from the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) were used for this study. Participants with SOA were included, and data from baseline to 48-month follow-up were analyzed. PA levels were assessed using the Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly (PASE). The primary outcomes included incidence of falls, recurrent falls, and fractures occurring within a one-year period. Covariates were selected based on previous literature. To account for within-subject variability over time, generalized linear mixed models were employed to examine the association between PA level and fall-related outcomes over the 4-year period. Given the PASE includes various types of physical activity, a sensitivity analysis was conducted using the item on strength/endurance exercise frequency. Higher PA levels were significantly associated with an increased incidence of falls (odds ratio [OR]: 1.19, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.05-1.36). Additionally, strength/endurance exercise frequency was inversely associated with recurrent falls (OR: 0.81, 95% CI: 0.68-0.96). However, no other significant associations were observed between PA or SEF and the other outcome variables. In individuals with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis (OA), simply increasing overall PA levels may not reduce the risk of falls. Instead, the type of physical activity, such as regular strength or endurance training, may play a more important role in fall prevention.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends over the past 20 years (2005-2025), with a focus on instructional methods and teaching strategies related to Korean dance and traditional dance. Research articles were reviewed using both quantitative and content analysis based on criteria such as publication year, authorship, publishing institution, keywords, research genre and educational content, research objectives, educational environment, research methodology, theoretical background, and types of teaching methods. The results indicate a marked increase in research output since 2019. The educational environment has expanded from a primary focus on formal school education to include community education and the transmission of intangible cultural heritage. Qualitative research accounted for the largest proportion of methodologies, and research objectives were most frequently related to the development of educational programs, the creation of teaching methods, and the verification of educational effectiveness. In terms of instructional methods, there was a tendency to combine traditional approaches with experiential learning-centered methods and integrated arts education. Theoretical backgrounds reflected an interdisciplinary trend, incorporating not only dance theory but also educational studies, psychology, and social development theory. Consequently, research on Korean dance and traditional dance education is increasingly oriented toward the integration of tradition and modernity. Future research should further explore the use of digital media, responses to multicultural societies, the development of customized educational programs, and the design of integrated instructional strategies.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of recognition and implementation of non-dance major physical education teachers in middle and high schools in the expression areas emphasized in the 2022 revised physical education curriculum, and to propose problems and improvement measures. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 physical education teachers in middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and the data were analyzed through repeated review and categorization. As a result of the study, teachers were aware of the educational value of the expression area, but they were experiencing difficulties such as lack of physical resources, lack of cooperation and support system between teachers, lack of expertise, and low awareness and participation of students. To solve this problem, improvement measures such as introducing a systematic training program and a professional certification system, establishing a cooperation system between teachers, preparing a support system for improving the classroom environment, and developing creative teaching methods to promote student participation were proposed. This study is significant in that it presents practical measures for the effective implementation of classes in the expression area, but there is a limit to generalization as a study for teachers in a specific region, and follow-up studies are needed.

Abstract
As interest in health and well-being continues to rise, the MZ generation (Millennials and Gen Z) increasingly seeks high-efficiency, personalized fitness programs. F45, a global functional training model, has gained popularity for aligning with their fast-paced, goal-oriented lifestyles. This study examines the cultural tendencies of the MZ generation through their engagement with F45. A case study was conducted at an F45 center in City S, involving ten participants in their 20s and 30s. Data were collected through non-participant observation and in-depth interviews. The results show that MZ participants favor time- and cost-efficient workouts, value community through group training, and actively use social media to share progress and express identity. Moreover, F45 served as a tool for self-development, offering motivation and a sense of achievement. These findings suggest that fitness for the MZ generation is not merely physical activity, but a meaningful cultural practice that supports identity formation and social interaction.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to the prediction of participation behavior using information-motivation-behavioral skills model (IMB) and heuristics theory in overseas scuba diving participants. The subjects of this study were 344 overseas scuba diving tour participants. Participants completed a series of questionnaires on the IMB model, representativeness heuristic, anchoring heuristic, and affect heuristic. With the collected data model fit tested and structural equation model were performed by AMOS 22.0, and the results are as follows. First, the information and motivation impacts positively(+) influence on behavioral skills of overseas scuba diving tour participants, but the information and motivation no significantly influence on participation behavior. Second, the behavioral skills impacts positively(+) influence on participation behavior of overseas scuba diving tour participants. Third, the anchoring heuristic and affect heuristic impacts positively(+) influence on participation behavior of overseas scuba diving tour participants, but the representativeness heuristic no significantly influence on participation behavior. These results suggest that the study model, which adds the IMB model and heuristics theory is a model that explains and prediction participation to overseas scuba diving tour.
